In 2007, ISD Clinic students Matt Earp and Igor Pesenson worked with the Internet Archive to idendify easier methods to add content to their digital repository. The student team developed strategies to implement RESTful Web-based services to submit content into the Internet Archive, using the Atom Publishing Protocol. The UK-based SWORDS project provided a valuable examplar for this project. This project will help remove barriers that inhibit contributions to formal digital repositories, especially repositories of open educational resources.
